University of Virginia Community Garden
As manager (or, as we called it, Gardener in Chard) of the Community Garden at the University of Virginia, I maintained the garden’s blog to keep students, faculty, staff, and community members interested and in the know about the goings-on of our growing space. Whether the day held a farm tour, a planting party, an internship opportunity, or simply an agricultural reflection, the blog shared our progress.
City of Portland Sustainable Food Program
I wrote posts for the Sustainable Food Program at the City of Portland, including a feature on the Portland Fruit Tree Project and an update on the vegetable garden in front of City Hall.
I also write and edit blog posts for other projects in the City’s Bureau of Planning and Sustainability.
